The Train — World Premiere in Berlin and Vienna Premiere

The spy action thriller The Train, written and directed by Boris Volodarsky and produced by Dennis Dewall, premiered in Berlin on September 8, 2026, followed by its Vienna premiere on September 22 at Hollywood Megaplex Gasometer.

I composed the original score for the film, creating a hybrid musical language that combines orchestral elements, electronic textures and sound design.

The central musical idea of the score is the Train Motif, a recurring leitmotif that appears throughout the film in different forms and orchestrations. The score also introduces individual musical themes connected to the main characters and uses recurring musical elements to reflect the movement of the train and the development of the story.

Set aboard the legendary Majestic Imperator Train de Luxe, The Train follows an international group of diplomats, intelligence operatives and other passengers as a glamorous journey develops into a complex story of espionage, deception, hidden identities and conflicting loyalties.
